Our client, a publicly traded multinational in the transportation and logistics sector, is seeking a Manager, Internal Audit for a 6-month contract engagement. Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, the Manager will lead and execute operational audits across a diverse portfolio of business units. The role also includes partnering with management on advisory engagements aimed at improving processes, strengthening controls, and enhancing operational efficiency.
This role is suited to someone who is comfortable operating independently, leading a team while managing competing priorities in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and execute operational audits across various business functions and geographies
- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and areas of operational risk
- Develop practical, value-added recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings to senior management
- Conduct follow-up reviews to assess implementation of audit recommendations
- Support advisory engagements, including process reviews, risk assessments, and control design
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of internal audit methodologies and tools
- CIA designation is an asset
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk, or related fields
- Experience in operational auditing within a complex, multi-entity organization
- Background in transportation, logistics, or a similarly asset-intensive industry is an asset
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and business processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a publicly traded company or complex entity is preferred.
